Tips and Tricks - De-mystifying the Breath

Breathing can be one of the more mystifying parts of the singing process, and there are as many approaches to breath as there are voice teachers. This workshop dispels many of the common myths and clarifies confusing terms/statements that float around, such as "Breathe from the diaphragm," "Support the sound,"  "Appoggio," and others. We also give you a broad look at different schools of breathing and different descriptive language so you can find what works best for you and your students.
